Welcome to the Africatown Digital Archive
The purpose of this project is to share the proud history of Africatown, from its founding to the present, and to create an archive for future generations.
This project is a collaboration between the Mobile County Training School Alumni Association (MCTS AA), Clean Healthy Safe and Sustainable (CHESS), the Mobile Environmental Justice Action Coalition (MEJAC), Heritage Preservation Foundation ,and Oberlin College.
